Games and Participatory Learning

The CCL brings the best of today’s learning sciences to interactive gaming, with a focus on social, emotional and civic learning. Games can do much more than reinforce and motivate content-based learning, and have a powerful role to play in fostering higher-order problem solving, socioemotional skills, and democratic participation. The CCL also is committed to growing the field of game-based learning by enabling and promoting cross-disciplinary and cross-sector knowledge-sharing and collaboration.
